How to Become an Election Page
If you are interested in serving as an election page:
  • You must be a middle school or high school student.
  • You must be able to take direction, pay attention to detail and not be easily distracted.
  • You must be willing to commit at least four hours on Election Day.

Responsibilities of an election page

  • Arrive at the agreed-upon precinct on time.
  • Receive instructions from chief and assistant chief officers.
  • Assist the officers of election in various ways, such as helping to set up the precinct in the morning, or taking down the precinct in the evening.
  • Remind the voters to get out their ID and help them to get in the correct line.
  • Help with crowd control, passing out "I Voted" stickers and other related duties to help the chief officer.
