Friends of the Library
Purpose
The Friends of the Hampton Public Library is a support organization whose members offer their time, skills and financial support to the Hampton Public Library in a variety of ways. A few of those are listed below:
  • Financial support for children's programs, equipment and furniture
  • Library advocacy
  • Sponsorship of the library's rental collection
  • The Internet Demonstration Program
  • Volunteer services

Activities
Some of our activities include:
  • Best of Friends Gift Shop in Main Library lobby (staffed by members of the Friends of the Hampton Public Library)
  • Friendly Footnotes, a quarterly newsletter featuring:
    • Calendar of Events
    • New book list
    • News from the library director
  • Semi-annual used book sales in winter and summer

To become a Friend:

  • Pay the Annual Dues:
  • $10 Individual
  • $25 Family
  • $50 Patron and Civic
  • $75 Corporate
  • $100 Life, over $100 Angel
